Position
Responsibilities:
Performing opening duties including unlocking doors, preparing overnight ER patient charts, and printing daily appointment listsGreeting patients and making them feel welcome in our clinicAccurately updating patient demographics Updating and verifying insurance eligibilityCollecting payments and copayments; performs daily cash box reconciliationDirecting or assisting patients in completing appropriate paperwork Checking out patients and scheduling follow-up appointments when necessaryMaintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulationsRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required Experience in a medical office setting is preferred Previous customer service experience is preferredExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skillsAbility to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accuratelyMust have flexibility to work some evenings and SaturdaysAbility to travel to other ORA locations as neededORA Orthopedics is the Quad Cities' largest and most comprehensive orthopedic provider, proudly offering an integrated continuum of orthopedic care that includes orthopedic sub-specialty clinics, walk-in care at our Urgent OrthoCARE clinics, diagnostic imaging, bracing, physical therapy, pharmacy and outpatient surgery.
