CNC Machinist/Tool Maker

Job Description:
The ideal Tool Maker candidate will be organized, hard-working and a self-starter. It is important that he or she likes to work in a manufacturing environment, has a mechanical aptitude and likes working with their hands. He/She must possess the ability to use Mastercam software and run cutter paths on a CNC machine. A positive attitude is very important to realize success in this position and with LeClaire Manufacturing. He/She must be self-motivated and able to solve problems. He or she must flourish in a team environment and be eager to assist co-workers and customers.

Essential Functions:
o Understanding of and experience running CNC machines.
o Able to run cutter paths using Mastercam to produce molds and patterns.
o Working knowledge of tooling used for cutting molds and patterns.
o Work flexible hours to accommodate Company and customer requirements.
o Able to read blue prints.
o Able to use gauges for measuring.
o Working with their hands
o Mechanical Skills: In addition to computer software, you will use a number of hand tools and large scale machines to finish your products.
o Attention to Detail: A critical component of this position is precision. You will need to make sure that your work is flaw-free to the minutest of details.
o Must have the ability to work any shift as necessary.
o HS Diploma or GED.
o Technical degree with cutter path experience.

o CNC usage.
o Mastercam and Solidworks
o Previous pattern making is a plus
Physical Requirements:
o Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
